Come along and join the fun at the Waikanae Playcentre. There’s lots of messy play, dressups, sand and sun and much more. We have provided a marble painting by Mitchell (aged 4) as an example of one of our children’s artwork. It was made by rolling marbles through paint and then onto the paper.
Here’s a recipe for slime which both adults and children love to play with.

Slime Recipe
1 Cup of Soapflakes
4 Cups of hot water
Dissolve the soapflakes in the hot water in a large bowl or bucket. Add colour if desired and leave to stand for at least an hour. The resulting play material will froth up if beaten, it pours easily and is extremely slimy to the touch. It also keeps very well. Our session times:
Monday 9.15am-11.45am Tuesday 9.15am-11.45am Thursday 9.15am-11.45am Friday 9.15am-11.45am
